Nexon's The First Descendant adds endgame content Void Intercept: Extreme

Nexon added Void Intercept: Extreme, endgame content with player-set difficulty, to The First Descendant on July 16.

Nexon applied an update to the looter shooter The First Descendant on July 16 adding new endgame content, Void Intercept: Extreme, along with balance adjustments. Extreme merges the existing Hard and Deep intercept battles into a final-stage mode, and clearing all standard colossi unlocks Threshold Breach. Players set their own difficulty by combining conditions such as reduced Descendant shields and defense or increased colossus attack power, and higher thresholds improve item acquisition efficiency. Quality-assured ETA exchange vouchers awarded on completion can be spent on limited items in the season shop.

The content goes through a tuning period until August 20 before being formally incorporated in the Season 4 update. Descendants Serena and Blair were also adjusted. Serena gained stronger single-target damage and two additional transcendent modules, while Blair received fundamental improvements including the ability to use skills while firing. To mark the update, Nexon is running a rally event granting a Precursor module selection box, along with progression support missions for players below Mastery Rank 18.
