Netmarble's Game of Thrones: Kingsroad launches Season 1, Frost and Steel, over six weeks
Netmarble applied Season 1, Frost and Steel, to Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. Three houses compete in the North across a six-week season.
Netmarble has applied its first season, Season 1: Frost and Steel, to the open-world action RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. The season runs for six weeks and is set in the North as an Ironborn invasion begins. Players choose one of three houses, Umber, Hornwood, or Manderly, swear loyalty as a bannerman, and take part in the honor competition between houses while working through seasonal content.
The content lineup has been reshaped to match. Season quests and relic quests are new, and five major dungeons convert into seasonal dungeons reflecting the Season 1 theme. Season Points earned through raid defense, the Northern Bannerman duel festival, and field exploration feed into both individual and house rankings. Also added are a new relic called the Broken Sword, a new Altar of Memory boss, the Unicorn, along with hard mode, and an expansion of the Wormway to floor 40.
