FromSoftware has revealed the schedule for a closed network test of The Duskbloods, the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive it currently has in development. The test runs four days from August 21 to 24, with applications accepted on the official entry page from July 22 through July 28. A Nintendo Account is required to apply, and selected participants will be announced on August 7. Those chosen can download the test build using a code that appears on their My Page from 10 p.m. on August 18.

The purpose of the test is to verify server load, the multiplayer environment, and balance. The developers also plan to examine problems that surface during multiplayer sessions and how player-to-player interference affects balance.

The Duskbloods is a PvPvE title in which Twilight Kin who have gained power beyond human limits fight over the Blood of the Beginning. It supports up to eight players in multiplayer and more than ten characters. The full release is scheduled for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
