Digital Extremes opens Soulframe Preludes access permanently for TennoCon 2026
Digital Extremes opens Soulframe's pre-alpha Preludes for TennoCon 2026. Sign up by July 13 to keep access until full launch.
Digital Extremes is temporarily throwing open Preludes, the pre-alpha stage of its dark fantasy action RPG Soulframe, to mark TennoCon 2026. Access had previously been limited to players selected by lottery, but anyone who creates an account on the official site before 12:59 p.m. Korea time on July 13 will be able to play the latest build with no time limit until the game fully launches. Those who sign up after the cutoff go back to waiting on the weekly lottery.
Soulframe comes from the studio behind Warframe, but trades fast combat for weightier, more deliberate melee and a nature-themed setting. The TennoCon devstream showed off the Vadagar pact, which wields the power of corruption, a lakeside fishing minigame, a new boss fight, and a wolf mount planned for later this year. The game is currently in testing primarily on PC, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions planned, though no global release date has been set.
