Palworld leaves early access with its 1.0 launch on July 10, price unchanged
Pocketpair's Palworld exits two and a half years of early access with its 1.0 release on July 10. The studio confirmed no price increase.
Pocketpair's open-world survival game Palworld leaves early access on July 10 with its 1.0 release, about two and a half years after entering early access in January 2024. Pocketpair previously showed a 1.0 cinematic trailer at Summer Game Fest 2026, teasing new Pals, new regions, fresh threats, and a World Tree. The published 1.0 patch notes run to 27 PDF pages of changes and additions alone, which reads less like a version flip than a full-scale content update.
The price increase many expected did not materialize. Pocketpair said through its official channels that the game will stay at its existing price of 29.99 dollars after 1.0, describing the decision as thanks for player support. The 30 percent Steam Summer Sale discount ahead of the full launch ended at 2 a.m. Korea time on July 10. Pocketpair recently announced that Palworld has passed 40 million players worldwide.
