Tokyo Game Show 2026 runs five days for its 30th edition, with Nexon, NCSoft and Netmarble attending
TGS 2026 takes place September 17-21 at Makuhari Messe. For its 30th anniversary the show adds a public day, running five days for the first time.
Tokyo Game Show 2026, organized by the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association, runs from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The event, which began in 1996, marks its 30th anniversary this year and expands from the usual two business days plus two public days to five days total by adding an extra public day. September 17 and 18 are business days, while the 19th through the 21st are open to the general public, with the final day falling on a Japanese national holiday. Organizers say the longer public window is intended to ease on-site crowding.
The exhibitor list has also taken shape. As announced, there are 821 total entries, or 771 once duplicates are removed, with roughly 38 listed under Korea. Japanese participants include Capcom, Sega and Atlus, Square Enix, Konami, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Game Freak. From Korea, Nexon, Netmarble, Smilegate, Com2uS, and NCSoft appear on the list, alongside Ironmace of Dark and Darker and Project Moon of Limbus Company.
