There are always more games you want than dates you remember, and a launch slips by unnoticed. This guide collects only what ships within 14 days of today, July 9, 2026 — new releases and major updates, in date order. It's built around things you'd want to preorder or pre-register for right now, which makes it a good calendar-alert list. Each title links to its exact date, D-day count and platforms.
The headline — Palworld 1.0
The marquee item in this window is Palworld 1.0. After roughly two years in early access, the full release lands July 10 on PC, PS5, Xbox and Game Pass with the new World Tree region plus additional Pals and content. Existing owners upgrade free, so it's worth noting when the switch happens. Console remake fans shouldn't skip Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, out a day earlier on July 9, which revives the 2013 pirate classic in the current Anvil engine with reworked parry-focused combat and naval battles. Returning the same day as an expansion, Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok adds new story, summons and cross-play, aimed squarely at co-op action RPG demand.
Console and JRPG lineup (July 10-16)
It's a strong week for JRPG players. Sword Art Online: Echoes of Aincrad reinterprets the Aincrad arc as an action RPG that climbs again from floors one and two — PS5 and Xbox on the 9th, Steam on the 10th with Korean support. If you've been waiting on a console port, Digimon Story: Time Stranger joins on Switch and Switch 2 on July 10, with the Switch 2 version offering both 4K/30fps and 1080p/60fps modes. Nihon Falcom's KYOTO XANADU -the Blooming Phantom- is an all-new action RPG set in Kyoto, with the Korean version launching simultaneously on July 16. For Lovecraftian horror, add the 1-4 player co-op The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu; for a rhythm roguelite from the Patapon team, Ratatan. Between Moss: The Forgotten Relic, the VR classic rebuilt for flat screens, and eBaseball: PRO SPIRIT 2026 with the series' first Korean subtitles, July 16 alone carries several significant launches. More console releases continue on the PC & Console Games page.
Korean MMO and mobile updates
For live-game players, a new server or update is the return date. Netmarble's Arthdal Chronicles NEW WORLD server opens July 14 as a farming-first server with four paid summon types removed, and pre-registration is open now. Wemade's Night Crows 5th class advancement update applies a new progression tier for top-end characters, plus guild hideouts and a PvP rework, on July 16. Netmarble's collectible RPG Tower of God: NEW WORLD 3rd anniversary update returns July 22 with a new SSR+ ally and login rewards, so claiming the pre-registration bonus early pays off. Server and event news keeps updating on the New Servers page.
Two more for the July 23 weekend
The week closes with two more prospects on July 23. Splatoon Raiders is the series' first single-player-focused spin-off and a Switch 2 exclusive — Nintendo's summer play. Dragonsword: Awakening is Hound13's open-world action RPG, reoriented into a gacha-free buy-to-play package for a global Steam release. Wishlist either one and you won't miss the launch alert.
Even this narrow two-week slice covers open world, JRPG and Korean MMOs. For titles with a longer D-day or games open for pre-registration, see Upcoming Games; for the full month, continue with our July release roundup.
