June — opening the summer
A Square Enix SRPG landmark returns to current hardware. Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles launches June 17 across PC, PS5 and Switch, with the original's political drama and tactical combat intact — which is the whole point of the release.
Arriving the same week, Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales joins on June 18 as a new Square Enix adventure built around charming visuals and exploration-first design. Sports and fighting game fans have EA Sports UFC 6 on June 19 and Dead or Alive 6: Last Round on June 25. UFC 6 leads with refined striking and grappling animation; Last Round's pitch is the complete package with all DLC bundled in.
July — the big IPs come back in sequence
July is stacked with major series entries. Nintendo's Star Fox (Switch 2) revives the series on July 2 with the new hardware's performance behind it, and on July 9 Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced returns with a modern rebuild of the pirate-action high point.
The same day brings Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, an expansion adding large-scale endgame content to a well-received action RPG. Sword Art Online: Echoes of Aincrad joins on July 10 aimed squarely at fans of the source, and late July holds Splatoon Raiders (July 23) and one of the half's biggest releases, Halo: Campaign Evolved (July 28). Halo reinterprets the series' origin for modern hardware, targeting newcomers and veterans at the same time.
August — new IPs alongside classic collections
August pairs fresh swings with nostalgia. Beast of Reincarnation, from Pokemon studio Game Freak, arrives August 4 as a surprising turn into dark fantasy action, and on August 6 Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls renders a Marvel hero brawl through Arc System Works' signature presentation.
Realism-FPS benchmark Hell Let Loose: Vietnam adds a Vietnam War setting to its 50-vs-50 battles on August 13. August 27 brings a double launch: Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 and Respawn's new strategy title Star Wars: Zero Company. The next day, August 28, Elden Ring Tarnished Edition (Switch 2) closes the summer by putting a soulslike landmark in your hands.
