Nexon has applied the first large-scale update of its summer campaign RE:ACTION to the MMORPG Mabinogi. The centerpiece is Arcana Awakening, which pushes character growth past its previous ceiling, along with an Ogham Word system built around 26 ancient letters. Arcana Awakening unlocks after completing a guide quest, and this first update allows growth up to level 30, with the cap rising to 50 in a planned second update.

Quality-of-life saw a heavy pass as well. The Near system used for dungeon entry has been converted to a pass purchase model, and inheritance costs between identical equipment are now free. A Fever Season event for newcomers and returning players also began, offering nine weeks of benefits including weapon and armor grants and a free daily rebirth.
